The Greene County Rural Water District was created in 1994, to provide a safe, reliable water system to rural residents in Greene County not served by a local water distribution system.
Greene County Rural Water District has since completed a total of 6 Phases of water main installation. These completed phases have allowed Greene County Rural Water District to provide water services to nearly 1400 rural customers.
Phase I totals approximately 63 miles of main and 276 users
Phase II totals approximately 60 miles of main and 268 users
Phase III totals approximately 82 miles of main and 296 users
Phase IV totals approximately 60 miles of main and 203 users
Phase V totals approximately 55 miles of main and 183 users
Phase VI totals approximately 63 miles of main and 163 users
